You end up anchored to a broker's headline figure — which exists to win your instruction — or to a buyer's opening offer, which exists to win a discount. An independent valuation gives you the one thing neither of those provides: a defensible number you can negotiate from.

We assess the business as a buyer's adviser would, triangulating an earnings multiple, the net assets and a cash-flow view, and benchmark it against what comparable businesses in your sector have actually changed hands for. You receive a written report in 72 hours, fixed fee, typically £495.
